WOW!!! I have just seen a miracle! Your butterflies are beautiful. Are they "monarchs?" What has happened to them since these pictures were taken? Are they now free? Today is "cinco de mayo"--May 5th. Big celebrations here in San Antonio--another reason to have a party. I will be in Denver next week to visit Emma and her family. Maybe I will be able to come to see what's new in your class room. See you soon! Love ya'll Grandma Kemper
Dear Ms. Jiskra, Boys and Girls--Can hardly wait to see your butterflies--the signs of new life. Will be watching from San Antonio, Texas where spring is in full bloom and Fiesta Week is in full swing! Our Riverwalk is filled with butterflies, birds, and colorful people riding on the barges. Our third big parade within one week happens tonight -- in the dark with lanterns and torches everywhere and dancers galore! Love ya'll--Grandma Kemper (Hi Emma!!)
Dear Ms. Jiskra and Students - HOW Incredible. You all are learning so much and how cool that you can actually see the growth and changes. We can't wait to see the progress. Nice teamwork! Mrs. Roy - Emma's Mom
Dear Ms. Jiskra and class,
This is sooooo cool! I can't wait to see what happens next!
Love, Ms. Bakke

Mr. Martin (Zach's Dad)
Hi McKenna! This is Aunt Jill in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! I can't wait to see your beautiful butterflies!

Wow, Emma. Grammy Joan ( Florida) is so amazed that I can see your butterfly project at Sanborn from over a thousand miles away at the seashore.
Today we had dolphins and a mommy whale with her baby whale in the ocean just off the beach, Nature is just too cool!
Love, Mrs. Roy (Emma's grandmother)
Hello Miss Emma and friends, this is your Aunt Donnell from Washington DC. Thank you for sharing your butterfly project with me. It is exciting to see what you and your class are learning. Can't wait to see them turn into butterflies!
Dear Students, I am so very proud of the special way you have chosen to care for your caterpillars - soon to be butterflies. I am inspired by your ability to research and look after these beautiful, yet delicate creatures. I look forward to the day when we will set our beautiful friends free into their natural environment. Love, Mrs. Jiskra
Peachy and I are having fun checking the website over the weekend. Can't wait to see how the butterflies progress. Pretty awesome. Mrs. Conant and Peachy :0)
